Barrel-Aged Crown Provides Ideal Blend for DSB Fan

One of our most popular fan recipes is barrel-aged Crown – simple, delicious, and classic. DSB customer George Rodriguez, from San Angelo, TX, is one of those fans, and his appreciation for aged Crown is contagious. “Crown is my favorite thing to age,” George says.

“I first found out about Deep South Barrels through the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo,” says George. “The sales staff there was wonderful!” DSB has long been associated with the San Angelo Stock Show, one of the nation’s largest rodeos in terms of contestants, and one of the biggest economic events of the year for the city of San Angelo.

Many of customers are drawn to us for the great products, and stick around for the Texas-style values. “My favorite things about Deep South Barrels is the cool products and the friendly service,” says George. He utilizes a 1L barrel (pictured below) to age his spirits. The 1L ages its contents quickly, and in the matter of just a couple weeks, the spirit is perfected. The waiting is the hardest part, but as George says, “patience is bitter, but aged spirits, now that is sweet.”
