Our high-quality, small oak barrels are made of pure American white oak and are guaranteed to age your spirits to smoother, richer-flavored versions of themselves in just a few short weeks. Our 3L oak barrel makes the perfect gift and is one of the few home bar accessories that the liquor enthusiast isn’t likely to already have! The 3L barrel is a great size for the buyer who wants to get the best mix of flavor and value.
On a fun side note, this is Miranda (our General Manager) Knerr’s favorite size barrel to age her tequila in. She finds the size of this barrel on her counter is a nice size and loves the average aging time of 3-4 weeks perfect for her as she is not a daily drinker so it gives her more time between batches.
The longer whiskey, tequila, and other spirits are aged in the barrel, the more the impurities in the alcohol are released. Once it’s bottled, the aging process stops. Wine, on the other hand, continues to age even after bottling. Use your barrel for aging again and again, because its contents will pick up the flavors of the oak and whatever you aged in it before. Shipping
We at DSB have listed during the checkout process show an estimated ship by date, once you opt to continue with your purchase you are confirming that you understand your order may not ship prior to this date. Once your payment has processed, DSB does not allow cancellations due to the shipping date. Delays in artwork approval (if we have to correct your artwork) can and will delay this ship by date.
