Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo 2015

Deep South Barrels spends a good majority of the year touring throughout the U.S. to rodeos, shows, conventions, and fairs, meeting new customers and showcasing our products. For the third year in a row, DSB is at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo in Fort Worth, TX. One of the busier rodeos in the country, the FWSS began in 1896 and has continued to garner record-breaking crowds consistently every year. DSB is proud to exhibit at the rodeo in 2015 from Jan. 17 – Feb. 7.

Fans and Friends

Comprised of a number of different buildings, Deep South Barrels is set up inside of the Amon Carter Exhibit Hall, a spacious area for vendors to display their products and mingle with customers. The weekend of Jan. 24 – 25 was especially busy, and crowds swarmed our booth, looking to learn more about our unique aging barrels.

“I bought a barrel last year and we were hoping to see you guys again this year to get another one,” Patricia Stockton of Fort Worth said. “It’s so busy in here that when I walked in I thought you guys might be sold out of the 2 liters. I might just pick up several today just in case.”

Rodeo Spirit

The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo brings out thousands of people to exhibit, perform, or just shop and enjoy the variety of items for sale from the many vendors. “It’s always nice to pick up some handmade stuff and to meet different people,” said Nicki Allison of Dallas. “This seems to be a really good year for rodeo, there isn’t even room to walk around in here.”

Even with the great weather outside, there were lots of people shopping, and we had the opportunity to meet with many customers, some of whom were established fans and some who were discovering Deep South Barrels for the first time.

“My brother-in-law uses his barrel all the time,” Alex Esperanza said. “I saw you guys here and wanted to come check them out. I think I’ll get one and I might even come back to order a couple more.”
